Maggie Ho reports
A Kowloon City Court magistrate on Friday decided to accept as evidence video footage from Asia Television at the trial of Occupy protester and Civic Party member, Ken Tsang.

Tsang is accused of splashing a liquid on 11 policemen in October 2014 at Tamar Park in Admiralty and resisting police officers.

Lawyers had spent days arguing whether the footage should be accepted, as the defence doubted its authenticity.

But Principal Magistrate, Peter Law, ruled that the footage appeared to be genuine and there was no reason for him to exercise his discretionary powers not to accept it. Screenshots captured from the footage have also been accepted as evidence.

The hearing continues.
