Worn copper cable blamed for MTR service disruption Listen
The chairman of LegCo's railways subcommittee, Michael Tien, who is also the convenor of Roundtable, says outdated MTR equipment should be replaced. His comments came as an investigation report by the railway giant blames a 10-hour service disruption on the Kwun Tong line in August on a worn copper cable transmitting unstable data.
