Hong Kong stocks closed lower on Thursday, tracking Wall Street falls on concerns of inflation and US monetary tightening.

The Hang Seng Index dropped 2.2 percent, 444 points, to 19,380.

The Shanghai Composite Index dropped 0.1 percent, or 3 points, to 3,054, while the Shenzhen Composite Index rose 0.2 percent, or 3 points, to 1,921. (AFP)
