Hong Kong shares finished lower on Monday as investors returned from a long weekend to play catch-up with last week's sell-off, with sentiment weighed by recession fears and a flare-up of Covid cases on the mainland.
The Hang Seng Index shed 0.1 percent, or 29 points, to 21,830.
The Shanghai Composite Index added 0.5 percent, or 17 points, to 3,405, while the Shenzhen Composite Index jumped 1.2 percent, or 25 points, to 2,245. (AFP)
