Hong Kong and Chinese stocks dived on Tuesday on heightened Sino-US tensions.

The Hang Seng Index tumbled 2.4 percent, or 476 points, to 19,689.

The Shanghai Composite Index lost 2.3 percent, or 73 points, to 3,186, while the Shenzhen Composite Index sank 2.9 percent, or 64 points, to 2,138. (Additional reporting by AFP)
