The Polish Foreign Ministry said early Wednesday that it was a Russian-made missile, and it summoned the Russian ambassador to demand immediate detailed explanations. Russia's war in Ukraine is dominating the G20 summit in Indonesia. A draft communique backed by the majority of G20 leaders condemned the war and its economic fallout. Annemarie Evans asked Paul Rogers, Professor of Peace Studies at Bradford University in the UK, if the G20 meeting could influence Russia on the issue of Ukraine:
