Asia Rugby says an intern made what it described as “an innocent mistake” playing a song, associated with violent protests in Hong Kong in 2019, instead of the national anthem at the Asian Rugby Sevens Series in South Korea over the weekend. Sai Kung district councillor, Christine Fong, says the government could be more aggressive in diverting more buses through the new Tseung Kwan O-Lam Tin Tunnel. The tunnel and an adjacent Cross Bay Link will be launched on December 11. Five bus routes will use the tunnel with another four added later. The links are expected to reduce travel times by 20 minutes. Fong told Ben Tse that traffic congestion in Tseung Kwan O was "horrible" and the new infrastructure would be a boost for her constituents:

Operation Santa Claus 2022 is in full swing and is raising money for 15 charities this year. One of the projects is ‘Regain Crystal Clear Vision’ - organised by Saint Barnabas' Society and Home - which aims to provide 30 eye examinations and seven eye surgeries for the impoverished and homeless, with priority given to the elderly. Poland says it is putting some military units on a heightened state of alert, after an explosion killed two people near the border with Ukraine. The Polish Foreign Ministry said early Wednesday that it was a Russian-made missile, and it summoned the Russian ambassador to demand immediate detailed explanations. Russia's war in Ukraine is dominating the G20 summit in Indonesia. A draft communique backed by the majority of G20 leaders condemned the war and its economic fallout.
