Elderly advised to bundle up as cold front approaches  Listenfacebook
The Observatory on Friday advised people to wrap up warm over the next few days, as a powerful cold front edges closer to Hong Kong. The mercury is expected to dip to around 12 degrees by Monday, although temperatures will start to climb again by mid-week. The Senior Citizen Home Safety Association says elderly people and those with chronic illnesses are particularly at risk from the cold. Jim Gould asked the association's Chief Executive Officer, Maura Wong what advice they'd like to give elderly people for when the temperature dips
Massive security as Paris braces for more violent protests  Listenfacebook
The Eiffel Tower will be shut on Saturday as the French government prepares Paris for further possible violence by anti-government protesters. Authorities in France say 65-thousand security personnel are to be deployed across the country in anticipation of what they're calling another wave of "great violence". This week, the government dropped a planned fuel tax rise that sparked the initial protests which culminated in several deaths and calls for the resignation of President Macron. AnneMarie Evans asked RTHK's London correspondent, Gavin Grey if it was a worrying situation

In horse racing, Hong Kong will send out its best against the rest of the world when the annual International Races get underway in Sha Tin on Sunday. The prestigious Hong Kong Cup will be contested along with the Mile, the Sprint, and the Vase. Jim Gould asked Bill Nader, the Jockey Club's Director of Racing Business and Operations, who to look out for this weekend
