Lau Siu-lai's bid for Legco still uncertain: academic Listen
Political commentator, James Sung, says it is uncertain whether the Labour Party’s Lau Siu-lai would be able to stand in next month’s Legco by-election. Lau is seeking to reclaim the seat she was disqualified from for an invalid oath, and has made statements supporting self-determination for Hong Kong. Full impact of Sulawesi earthquake still not know: Red Cross Listen
The Hong Kong Red Cross says the full impact of the disaster caused by the earthquake and tsunami on the Indonesian island of Sulawesi is still not known. Its senior programme coordinator of the international and relief service department, Karen Poon, said there were many challenges in carrying out the rescue and relief work. She also urged Hong Kong people to help those who have been affected on the island, and spoke to Jim Gould:
