Macau police said on Saturday that two women are suspected to have been murdered, after their bodies were found naked inside a casino hotel room.
Officers said they found the bodies overnight after receiving a call from MGM Cotai asking for an ambulance.
The victims were said to have wounds around their neck, and authorities suspect they were strangled with a bathrope belt. One of the women also had abrasions on her arm.
Autopsies will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
Officers suspect the crime scene had been tidied up, adding that there were no signs of a struggle.
They also said no identity documents nor properties were found on the victims.
