Observatory cancels Amber Rainstorm Warning

The Observatory has cancelled the Amber Rainstorm Warning Signal at 7:40am on Friday.

Nevertheless, it called on people to stay alert to the danger that may be brought about by river flooding.

Earlier, the weatherman issued the Red Rainstorm Warning Signal at 4:25am, which was downgraded to the amber signal just after 7am.

The Education Bureau said classes of all AM schools and whole-day schools will be suspended for the day.
