Health officials on Tuesday said another six hotels will start accepting bookings from inbound travellers for quarantine purposes from later this week.
Officials said they had invited more operators to join the quarantine scheme in anticipation of more people coming to Hong Kong now that entry requirements have been relaxed.
The six hotels are: Empire Hotel Kowloon, Hotel Alexandra; Hotel COZi ‧ Harbour View; Hotel COZi ‧ Oasis; Novotel Century Hong Kong and Royal View Hotel.
Officials said other hotels have applied to join the scheme and they are still processing the applications.
There are currently 62 designated quarantine hotels in Hong Kong, providing around 22,000 rooms.
