Police on Saturday arrested a sixth suspect in connection with the fatal stabbing of a 46-year-old man early on Friday morning at a Portland Street unit. The 34-year-old suspect was detained in Mong Kok.

Five of the arrested, four men and a woman, have been detained on suspicion of murder. A second woman has been arrested on suspicion of assisting offenders.

The arrests took place in Sham Shui Po, Mong Kok, and at Hong Kong International Airport.

Police have also seized two private cars and two knives in Tseung Kwan O and Mong Kok in connection with the case.

Police suspect the unit was being used as a gambling den and that the case is linked to a dispute over money. A 59-year-old woman also received head injuries during Friday's incident.
