Hong Kong shares opened slightly higher on Wednesday as a measure of stability returned to markets after hefty losses at the start of the week.
Investors are focused on the Federal Reserve's policy decision later in the day.
The Hang Seng Index added 0.2 percent to 21,111.
The Shanghai Composite Index was flat, inching up 0.20 points to 3,289, while the Shenzhen Composite Index ticked up 0.2 percent to 2,093. (AFP)
