Hong Kong stocks opened on Monday with losses as investors remain fixated on surging inflation and central bank interest rate hikes that are fuelling concerns of a recession.
The Hang Seng Index shed 0.60 percent to 20,949.
The Shanghai Composite Index was flat inching down a point to 3,316, while the Shenzhen Composite Index on China's second exchange added 0.48 percent to 2,141. (AFP)
