National security police said on Sunday that they had detained two men for allegedly publishing seditious messages.

The men, aged 31 and 53, were arrested in Cheung Sha Wan and Chai Wan.

The force also said officers seized some electronic communication devices, a computer, military knives and an imitation firearm from the men's homes.
