Two of his friends told RTHK that the popular Chinese language novelist passed away on Sunday afternoon.
One of them said he had been sick for some time, and his family had been caring for him.

He is the author of hundreds of sci-fi and martial heroic novels and film scripts.
His popular novels include the Wisely Series and the Dr Yuen Series, which were initially published in local newspapers, and later adopted into films and TV series.
