A man was on Monday remanded into custody after he appeared at the Kowloon City Court charged with murdering his ex-girlfriend last week.

Lo Chun-ming, 28, is accused of murdering yoga instructor, Aqua Chow, at the Ritz-Carlton hotel some time between June 29 and 30.

The defendant did not apply for bail and no plea was entered.

The case has been adjourned to October 17 pending further police investigation.
