The police have arrested a man on suspicion of arson after a double-decker bus caught fire on Thursday morning on the artificial island that houses the boundary crossing facilities for the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau bridge.

A force spokesman said they received a report at around 7:30am that the vehicle, parked at the bus terminus, was on fire.

No one was injured.
