Hong Kong stocks fell more than one percent at the start of business on Monday, amid growing concerns about a fresh Covid-19 flare-up in the mainland and ahead of the release of key data this week on the world's second largest economy.
The Hang Seng Index lost 1.17 percent to 21,470.
The Shanghai Composite Index slipped 0.45 percent to 3,341, while the Shenzhen Composite Index eased 0.38 percent to 2,211.
