Hong Kong stocks sank more than one percent at the start of Friday's trade, on renewed concerns about the tech sector and ahead of the release of mainland economic growth data.
The Hang Seng Index fell 1.10 percent to 20,522.
The Shanghai Composite Index dropped 0.62 percent to 3,261, while the Shenzhen Composite Index on the mainland's second exchange dipped 0.34 percent to 2,185. (AFP)
