A second former worker at a foster home in Prince Edward has been jailed for abusing children there.
Lam Mei-po, 56, was sentenced to around seven months behind bars.
She earlier pleaded guilty to assaulting three youngsters at the Children's Residential Home in December last year.
Kowloon City Magistracy heard that Lam hit one girl in the chest after the child pushed her.
Lam also shoved a water bottle in a girl's face.
In another incident, Lam entered a room where around 20 children were sleeping and stepped on the lower body of one of them.
Acting principal magistrate Peony Wong said the offences were serious and noted that Lam assaulted all three children on the same day.
Lam is one of 34 former workers at the childcare facility who have been charged with ill-treatment or neglect of children in their care.
Another defendant who also pleaded guilty, Heung Wing-shan, was recently jailed for four months.
