Hong Kong stocks ended sharply lower on Wednesday, giving up most of the previous day's rally, as investors prepared for an expected Federal Reserve interest rate hike later in the day.
The Hang Seng Index fell 1.1 percent, or 235 points, to close at 20,670.
The Shanghai Composite Index dipped 0.1 percent, or 1 point, to 3,275, while the Shenzhen Composite Index rose 0.3 percent, or 7 points, to 2,194. (AFP)
