The Hong Kong Automobile Association says it will host a car parade this Sunday from Cyberport to the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge link road, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the SAR.
At a press briefing on Wednesday, the association said more than 120 cars will take part in the 70-kilometre long parade.
Owen Chan, chief executive of the association, said the parade will demonstrate the strong links between Hong Kong, Macau and Zhuhai.
He dismissed concerns that the parade will cause inconvenience to other road users, saying the association will communicate with the police on traffic arrangements.
Chan added that participants are required to use the LeaveHomeSafe app and observe strict Covid-19 measures.
