A man has died after being hit by a truck on Hiram's Highway in Sai Kung.

The incident happened at around 6am on Thursday morning, reportedly as the man was crossing the highway near Tai Chung Hau Road.

He sustained head injuries and was taken to Tseung Kwan O Hospital where he was certified dead.

Police are investigating.
