Police on Sunday said they had laid a holding charge of manslaughter against two men, after a 40-year-old man was found dead in a hotel room on Hollywood Road in Central on Saturday.

The pair, a 38-year-old foreign national and a local man, 44, were arrested on Saturday.

They are due to appear at Eastern Magistrates' Courts on Monday morning.

Police said the man's body had been found in the bathroom, after officers were called in by the staff of the Hotel Madera in the small hours of Saturday morning.

The 38-year-old man was arrested at the scene, and the 44-year-old in Aberdeen.
