Hong Kong stocks fell more than one percent at the open on Tuesday and continued a decline from Wall Street, which ended lower after a choppy session on Monday, with declines in Exxon Mobil and other energy companies.
The Hang Seng Index shed 1.10 percent to 19,943.
The Shanghai Composite Index sank 0.88 percent to 3,231, while the Shenzhen Composite Index lost 1.15 percent to 2,177. (Agencies)
