Three workers were injured on Wednesday after they were hit by a falling metal pole at a construction site in Yau Tong as the typhoon signal number three was in force.

The police said it received a report about the incident on Cha Kwo Ling Road at around 3:15pm.

Two of the workers were in a unconscious state, a force spokesman said.

Investigations are ongoing.
