Hong Kong stocks rallied more than one percent at the open on Thursday after a slowdown in US inflation boosted hopes that the Federal Reserve will slow down its pace of interest rate hikes.
The Hang Seng Index rose 1.17 percent to 19,840.
The Shanghai Composite Index added 0.42 percent to 3,243, while the Shenzhen Composite Index gained 0.47 percent to 2,191. (AFP)
