Police said they have arrested a man after he was allegedly found carrying a knife in his bag when he entered West Kowloon magistrates' courts on Monday morning.

Officers said they received a report at around 11:09am that security guards had found an 18-cm-long knife when a bag was screened with an X-ray machine.

A 39-year-old man was detained on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon.
