Police have confirmed that the force's commissioner Raymond Siu has tested positive for Covid-19 through a rapid antigen test.
In a statement published on Tuesday, a spokesperson said he was undergoing isolation in accordance with the Centre for Health Protection's guidelines.
The force also confirmed that Siu last worked on Monday, but had followed the relevant disease prevention measures, including wearing a face mask and doing daily rapid tests before going to work.
