Compulsory testing ordered for 58 locations

The government on Tuesday issued compulsory testing notices for 58 places across Hong Kong.

Anyone who has visited any of these premises and stayed there for the length of time and on the dates specified must get a nucleic acid test for Covid-19.

The buildings listed are located in Tai Po, Cheung Sha Wan, Ngau Chi Wan, Tseung Kwan O, Shau Kei Wan, Stanley, Quarry Bay, Tsing Yi, Ma On Shan, Tuen Mun, Sau Mau Oing, Pok Fu Lam, Kwun Tong, Fanling, Tin Shui Wai, Cha Kwo Ling, Sheung Sheui, Sha Tin, Tsing Yi, Kowloon City, Chai Wan, Kwai Chung, Yau Tong, Tsuen Wan, Mong Kok, Wong Tai Sin, and Lam Tin.

In addition, six locations in Ho Man Tin, were issued with compulsory testing notices after sewage samples tested positive for Covid-19.

The Centre for Health Protection reported 6,654 new Covid infections on Tuesday, including 244 imported cases.
