Compulsory testing notices issued for 23 locations

The government on Wednesday issued compulsory testing notices for 23 places across Hong Kong.

Anyone who has visited any of these premises and stayed there for the length of time and on the dates specified must get a nucleic acid test for Covid-19.

The buildings listed are located in Tai Kok Tsui, Chai Wan, Sha Tin, Ap Lei Chau, Tuen Mun, Tseung Kwan O, Yau Tong, Tai Wai, Shek Kip Mei, Tin Shui Wai, Tai Po, Ngau Tau Kok, Tsz Wan Shan, Pok Fu Lam, Sai Wan Ho, and Quarry Bay.

In addition, a total of five locations in Ho Man Tin and Tin Shui Wai, were issued with compulsory testing notices after sewage samples tested positive for Covid-19.

The Centre for Health Protection reported 7,884 new Covid infections on Wednesday, including 207 imported cases.
