Compulsory testing notices issued for 43 locations

The government on Thursday issued compulsory testing notices for 43 places across Hong Kong.

Anyone who has visited any of these premises and stayed there for the length of time and on the dates specified must get a nucleic acid test for Covid-19.

The buildings are located in Tsz Wan Shan, Kwun Tong, Sheung Shui, Diamond Hill, Tseung Kwan O, Sha Tin, Tin Shui Wai, Sha Kei Wan, North Point, Tsing Yi, Tung Chung, Kwai Chung, Tuen Mun, Tai Po, Sham Shui Po, Hung Hom, Lam Tin, Ngau Chi Wan, Yau Tong, Kowloon City, Kwai Chung, Aberdeen, Ma On Shan, Fanling, Tai Wai and Kowloon Bay.

In addition, 8 locations in Chai Wan, Shau Kei Wan, Wong Tai Sin and Tin Shui Wai were issued with compulsory testing notices after sewage samples tested positive for Covid-19.

The Centre for Health Protection reported 8,579 new Covid infections on Thursday, including 297 imported cases.
