A man has died after being stabbed multiple times in Yau Ma Tei early on Monday.

Police said they received a report of several people on motorbikes – with some holding knives – attacking the man near the intersection of Jordan Road and Parkes Street, before fleeing the scene.

The incident happened at about 4am.

The victim, described to be aged between 30 and 35, was rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital and pronounced dead shortly afterwards.
