A man who was shot in the abdomen by a policeman during the social unrest three years ago was on Monday found guilty by the District Court of obstructing the officer and attempting to snatch his gun.
Chow Pak-kwan, who was 21 years old at the time, was shot amid a protest on November 11, 2019, in Sai Wan Ho.
He was also convicted of a count of attempt to escape from custody.
A co-defendant, Woo Tsz-kin, who was 19 that year, was also found guilty of obstructing the police and trying to take his gun.
Sentencing for the pair has been adjourned to October 10 pending their background reports.
