Hong Kong stocks closed down on Tuesday, extending losses sparked by a warning from Federal Reserve boss Jerome Powell that the bank would continue hiking interest rates to fight inflation.
The Hang Seng Index lost 0.4 percent, or 74 points, to 19,949.
The Shanghai Composite Index eased 0.4 percent, or 13 points, to 3,227. The Shenzhen Composite Index dipped 0.5 percent, or 10 points, to 2,137. (AFP)
