Compulsory testing ordered for 58 locations

The government on Thursday issued compulsory testing notices for 58 places across Hong Kong.

Anyone who has visited any of these premises and stayed there for the length of time and on the dates specified must get a nucleic acid test for Covid-19.

The buildings are located in Tai Po, Lam Tin, Sha Tin, Tuen Mun, Tseung Kwan O, Hung Hom, Ngau Tau Kok, Tsing Yi, Tin Shui Wai, Sheung Shui, Ma On Shan, Fanling, Kwai Chung, Tung Chung, Sau Mau Ping, Ho Man Tin, Tsuen Wan, Diamond Hill, Tsz Wan Shan, Wong Tai Sin, Kwun Tong, Quarry Bay, Kwai Chung, Tai Wai, and Kowloon City.

In addition, one location in Kwun Tong was issued with compulsory testing notices after sewage samples tested positive for Covid-19.

The Centre for Health Protection reported 10,586 new cases on Thursday, 244 of which were imported.
