Compulsory testing ordered at 66 locations

The government on Friday issued compulsory testing notices for 66 places across Hong Kong.

Anyone who has visited any of these premises and stayed there for the length of time and on the dates specified must get a nucleic acid test for Covid-19.

The buildings are located in Lam Tin, Tuen Mun, Tai Wai, Tseung Kwan O, Ngau Tau Kok, Sau Mau Ping, Shau Kei Wan, Aberdeen, Sha Tin, Tin Shui Wai, Tsuen Wan, Wong Tai Sin, Diamond Hill, Kwai Chung, Quarry Bay, Ma On Shanm, Yau Tong, Chai Wan, Kowllon Bay, Yuen Long, Cheung Sha Wan, Ngau Chi Wan, Sham Shui Po, Fanling, So Kwun Wat, Ap Lei Chau and Sheung Shui.

In addition, 11 locations in Tai Po, Kwai Chung, Ma On Shan, and Tsuen Wan were issued with compulsory testing notices after sewage samples tested positive for Covid-19.

The Centre for Health Protection reported 10,076 new Covid infections on Friday, including 154 imported cases.
