Police have charged the chairman of the Journalists Association, Ronson Chan, with obstructing officers.

He will appear in the West Kowloon Court on Thursday for mention.

Chan was arrested earlier this month while he was reporting on a meeting of public housing flat owners for Channel C, an online news outlet he works for.

He was due to leave Hong Kong next week for a fellowship programme at Oxford University.
