Compulsory testing ordered for 63 locations

The government on Friday issued compulsory testing notices for 63 places across Hong Kong.

Anyone who has visited any of these premises and stayed there for the length of time and on the dates specified must get a nucleic acid test for Covid-19.

The buildings are located in Chai Wan, Sham Shui Po, Shau Kei Wan, Sha Tin, Tung Chung, Tai Wai, Tai Po, Tsing Yi, Shek Kip Mei, Quarry Bay, Hung Hom, Tsz Wan Shan, Ho Man Tin, Tin Shui Wai, Yau Tong, Tuen Mun, Tsuen Wan, Fanling, Tseung Kwan O, Ngau Chi Wan, Ap Lei Chau, Kowloon City, Kennedy Town, Sau Mau Ping, Lam Tin, Wang Tau Hom, Ngau Tau Kok, Yau Ma Tei, Kwai Chung, Cheung Sha Wan, Ma On Shan, Sheung Shui and Aberdeen.

In addition, three locations – two in Tuen Mun and one in Tin Shui Wai – were issued with compulsory testing notices after sewage samples tested positive for Covid-19.

The Centre for Health Protection on Friday reported another 5,387 infections, 156 of them imported.
