A 52-year-old woman was arrested on Thursday following a high-speed car chase by the police from West Kowloon to Tuen Mun Road.
The force said shortly before noon, a patrolling vehicle spotted the licence of a car travelling on the West Kowloon Corridor had expired.
Officers signalled to the driver to pull over, but she sped through Lai Chi Kok Road and Tsuen Wan Road with the police in pursuit.
Police said after travelling some 9 kilometres, the driver made a U-turn on Tuen Mun Road, going against traffic for another 3 kilometres before her car hit two other vehicles.
All three drivers were injured, with one of them, a 33-year-old man, trapped inside his vehicle at one point.
Investigators said they have arrested the driver in question on suspicion of furious driving, taking conveyance without authority and other offences. They added that she was wanted for other drugs and fraudulent document-related cases.
