Hong Kong stocks rose at the open on Wednesday after gains on Wall Street, but trade could remain volatile as investors speculate on the future of China's zero-Covid policy.
The Hang Seng Index put on 0.6 percent to 16,650 in early trade.
The Shanghai Composite Index edged up 0.2 percent, or 4.93 points, to 3,069, while the Shenzhen Composite Index was flat, adding 1.00 points to 2,020. (AFP)
