Health officials on Saturday reported 5,723 new Covid infections, including 392 imported cases.

The daily tally was slightly up from 5,599 the day before.

The authorities said they had for the first time found a local patient who was infected with the BF.7 variant.

Six more patients infected with the coronavirus have died.
