Police say they have arrested three more people in connection with a hit-and-run in Yuen Long last week that left a teenager seriously injured.
A 14-year-old suffered multiple injuries when he was hit by a car near Castle Peak Road on November 7.
He has undergone surgery twice and remains in intensive care.
The driver of the car involved left the scene and a vehicle was later found burnt out.
At a press briefing on Friday, chief inspector Tam Tsz-wai said two men and a woman, aged 22 to 28, were picked up between Wednesday and early Friday in Yuen Long and Hung Shui Kiu.
The trio include a 28-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving causing grievous bodily harm, driving without a licence and without third-party insurance.
Officers said the man had been wanted for a dangerous driving case last year.
The 28-year-old, along with his girlfriend and another man are also suspected of perverting the course of justice by setting on fire the car allegedly involved in the incident.
The force earlier arrested and bailed a 43-year-old man believed to be the owner of the vehicle.
