A District Court judge on Tuesday found nine people guilty of rioting in Kowloon on October 1, 2019.
Seven of the defendants were also convicted of possessing offensive weapons, including extendable poles, folding knives and slingshots with beads.
The court heard that the riot took place on the section of Nathan Road between Tsim Sha Tsui Police Station and Cheung Lok Street.
The nine defendants had denied the charges against them.
