Hong Kong stocks opened slightly higher on Wednesday as traders tracked a rally on Wall Street and moved back on the front foot after a five-day losing streak, although China's Covid flare-up weighed on sentiment.
The Hang Seng Index edged up 0.21 percent to 17,460.
The Shanghai Composite Index eased 0.14 percent to 3,084, while the Shenzhen Composite Index dipped 0.21 percent to 1,998. (AFP)
