Hong Kong stocks rose on Wednesday to break a five-day losing streak on hopes of a slower pace of Federal Reserve interest rate hikes.
The Hang Seng Index added 0.6 percent, or 99 points, to 17,523.
The Shanghai Composite Index added 0.3 percent, or 7 points, to 3,096, while the Shenzhen Composite Index slipped 0.3 percent, or 6 points, to 1,995. (Additional reporting by AFP)
