Health authorities on Saturday announced that they had recorded 14,377 new Covid-19 infections, including 698 imported ones.

The daily caseload was up from the 13,924 reported on Friday, and marked a fourth straight day of new infections exceeding 10,000.

An additional 21 people who tested positive for the coronavirus were reported to have died.
