An elderly couple were arrested on Sunday after their chronically-ill daughter was found dead in their flat in Tsz Wan Shan.

Police said they received a call at about 1:30am saying that someone was injured in the unit at Lok Shun House of the Tsz Lok Estate.

Officers then found the daughter, 47, in the flat, with bloodstains in her room, the bathroom and the living room. She was certified dead at a hospital.

Police said she had wounds to her head and neck, and they found a hammer in the flat.

They arrested the mother, 74, and the father, 78.
