Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Yau Ma Tei on Wednesday in which a 73-year-old male pedestrian died.

At about 8:55 pm, a motorcycle ridden by a 19-year-old man was travelling along Nathan Road towards Tsim Sha Tsui. When approaching the junction of Nathan Road and Hamilton Street, it reportedly knocked down the 73-year-old man.

He was rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital with serious head injuries in a semi-conscious state and was certified dead shortly after 10:30 pm.
